Description
The 7127 is an engine timing and cylinder head rebuild kit for the popular Volvo 2.5 and Ford 2.5 ST petrol engines. It contains the tools required to align the crankshaft and camshafts; also includes the tools needed to hold the camshafts in the top half of the cylinder head and the press tools required to fit the cam carrier, with cams, into the head making re-assembly much easier and faster.
For cam replacements and head rebuilds on Volvo and Ford 2.5 ST engines. Contains all the tools to make cylinder head rebuilding easier and faster.
Equivalent to Volvo OEM 999 5454, 999 5452, 999 5453 and 999 5451 and Ford OEM 303-1178 and 303-1182.
Fitted to Volvo 850, S70, V70, XC70, V70. 960, S90, S60, S80, C30, V40, S40 and V50.
For Volvo engine codes B4204, B5254 and B6304; Ford Duratec 2.5 ST engines.
For tappet setting prior to reassembly use Laser 6827; for crankshaft damper holding use Laser 5197.
