Description

Two piece thread cutting hand tap set, comprising of a taper tap and plug tap. The taper tap has a gradual cutting action, due to the pronounced chamfer of the thread, making it suitable for starting a thread. The plug tap has far less of a chamfer and is used after the taper tap to get close to the bottom of the hole.

Taper & plug taps, size: M2 thread x 0.4 pitch.

Used with Connect adjustable tap holder, Part No. 37021; or T-type tap holder, Part No. 37020.

Manufactured from alloy steel.
