Description
Two piece thread cutting hand tap set, comprising of a taper tap and plug tap. The taper tap has a gradual cutting action, due to the pronounced chamfer of the thread, making it suitable for starting a thread. The plug tap has far less of a chamfer and is used after the taper tap to get close to get to the bottom of the hole.
Taper & plug taps, size: M9 thread x 1.25 pitch.
Used with Connect adjustable tap holder, Part Nos. 37021 (M3-M12) or 37022 (M6-M20).
Manufactured from alloy steel.
